Travelling steam locomotive

An absolute highlight is the TICINO" steam locomotivewhich, under the guidance of Martin Horath, runs back and forth on a 100 metre long track laid especially for this purpose. This not only makes the hearts of railway fans beat faster. The journeys are free of charge.

Special exhibition

The Special exhibition at the Berggasthaus Rigi Scheidegg The exhibition features photos, portraits, documents, objects, etc. in three themed areas and is a real treasure trove for young and old alike.
From 30 August to 7 September, the special exhibition will also be open from 10 am to 4 pm during restaurant opening hours.

Big party

The festival restaurants in the grounds, in the mountain inn, in the Alpine kiosk and in the Rigi Maison provide a cosy place to linger. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., various music bands entertain visitors to the festival at these three locations.
